Louisiana, Here We Come...Again!!!

It's been a fast two years and FBC Beverly is on the move again! This year, a group of 44 will travel from August 2 to August 10 to Lafitte, Louisiana, to once again work with the Southern Mutual Help Association doing hurricane Katrina clean-up and rebuilding.

Our last fund-raising attempt will be a Day-Before-Father's-Day Car Wash and Bake Sale at FBC from 9am to noon. Come on down, bring dad's car, bring dad and buy him a muffin, bring your friends and all their dirty cars. Just come down to have fun and raise some last funds for this great trip.

This blog will be updated a couple of times before we leave and daily while we are away on the trip. Please note that anyone can read the blog, but you must subscribe to comment. Please don't be afraid to subscribe and send us some words of encouragement! You won't get tons of junk mail as a result and we love to hear from home while we're away. I pass on all personal messages and read any other messages to the whole group.
