Well, I spent lots of today gathering up the group stuff for which I was responsible (first aid kit, songbooks, etc.), but, MOST importantly...purchasing "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" on itunes. I am SO READY TO GO!
I hope today's travels went smoothly for Group 1 -- we'll look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Well, we are now 37 - Alyssa fell at the Roller Palace today (I guess yesterday now) and broke her wrist, so she won't be joining us. :(

I'm so sorry to hear about Alyssa's fall - certainly bad timing with the mission trip and in the middle of her summer vacation. We all wish her a good recovery. Is Lynette still going on the trip? Actually the count is now down to 36 (I think) because Nikki Fisher had to drop out when her brother-in-law unexpectedly was hospitalized.
Glad to hear that the first group arrived safely and on schedule in Maryland. Friday was great traveling weather, but it's unfortunate that you had to leave Beverly when the first cool dry air mass to arrive here since the 4th of July finally settled in. I think I'll just spend the rest of the day breathing!
